Hi!

My name is Coco. I am from Japan and currently a junior at Emma Willard School. Since I have learned Japanese abacus (Soroban) for 7 years, I am always fascinated with calculation, and math has been my favorite subject since elementary school. This year, I am taking AP Computer Science at Emma. In the class, we not only learn how to write code but also get to experience graphing. Last month, we took a survey for three weeks at the beginning of the class everyday and learned how to clean up, graph, and analyze the data. It was very interesting, and I am glad that my Signature project/STEAM Research goes along with it. For my Signature project, I go to deFacto Global Inc., which is located in downtown Troy. Their mission is to budget enterprise-quality, forecast, consolidate, report and analyze product using AI (artificial intelligence) for any size organization. I am going to learn Excel and some programming languages such as R to understand the way they plan and analyze product. I will update this blog every week to record my project. In May, there will be a final presentation event, and I will be presenting my Signature project.
